The medieval center, the old city wall, the floodplains of the IJssel, the parks, the special residential areas and the hundreds of monuments. They are easy to explore by bicycle. The themed tours led by a guide are offered by the Foundation for City Walks and Packages Zutphen. Are you interested in architecture and building styles? Then, after a tour of the city center, the guide will take you to neighborhoods with many Jugendstil and Amsterdam School buildings. Would you like to see more of the nature around Zutphen, cycle along the IJssel, through green parks and over old cemeteries? Then you choose the nature bike tour. There is also an industrial heritage-themed bike ride. In recent years, Zutphen has invested a lot in a new district where there used to be a lot of industry. The Noorderhaven is now a residential area, marked by industrial heritage and ports on the IJssel. In 2016, a new harbor was opened for pleasure craft. A little further is the Museumhaven, a harbor for historic ships.
